Joyful Toledo was developed from a deep desire to create a lighthearted & joyful community amongst women while simultaneously doing good for those in the community who were struggling through the holiday season.
Joyful Toledo partnered with a local Non-profit called Moms House, where they work to empower young families and strive to break the cycle of poverty through educational tools, resources, and encouragement. The Joyful Toledo workshop was able to donate over $200 to Moms House to aid in their mission.
MORE ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Joyful Toledo was carefully curated to bring together multiple business vendors to showcase their skills. It was hosted at Rustbelt Coffee, an industrial coffee house in downtown Toledo whose baristas served up delightfully caffeinated beverages from a custom menu. Before beginning the workshop, guests were able to do some Christmas shopping in the quaint shop of Found Our Haven. Workshop attendees then grabbed small bites from local Fowl & Fodder restaurant and tasty treats from a dessert bar put together by My Sweet Story. Attendees then found a seat and began constructing their wreaths with instruction from local florist, The Flower Mercantile. Attendees went home with a beautiful hand-painted card from For Glory & Beauty Co. as well as a beautiful and unique hand made wreath, as well as full bellies and full hearts!
